Enoch’s OpenPanel A10 is a fanless open frame display subsystem complete with 10.4″ LCD and single-board-computer with a third generation Intel Atom processor. OpenPanel systems are highly integrated computing solutions that combine computing and display technology into an open frame module. Our open frame designs are very compact and can be easily customized to fit your application. These open frame modules were created to be used as building block and help engineers quickly develop their products and decrease their time-to-market. Engineers can take advantage of a display and computing solution that has already been developed and tested; reducing their development risk, cost, and time to develop a solution on their own. OpenPanel is readily available and engineers can start working on testing their software right away, instead of spending time developing a hardware solution. OpenPanel systems are tried-and-true and help simplify your bill-of-materials.
OpenPanel is comprised of three main components, display, system board, and chassis. All of which are interchangeable and customizable.
Enoch supports a variety of LCD displays that offer varying resolutions, brightnesses, and viewing angles. Enhancements can be made to stock LCD displays to increase their native brightness. Anti-glare and anti-reflective coatings and films can be applied directly to LCDs to enhance their viewability under bright sunlight or high ambient lighting conditions.
For applications that requires the user/operator to interact with the system, OpenPanel supports optional projective capacitive or resistive touchscreen. Standard options for projected capacitive touch include air-bonded touchscreen to LCD with and without a printed black bezel. Optically bonded projected capacitive touchscreen is also available.
For added protection 3mm, 5mm, 8mm, and 10mm coverglass can optically bonded to the projective capacitive or directly to the LCD. Coverglass can be chemically etched to offer various anti-glare levels that will break up the reflected light off the surface of the glass. For easy cleaning, an oleophobic coating can be applied to the coverglass which will resist any fingerprints from being left on the glass while also creating a smooth surface that makes it easier for fingers to glide along the surface.
OpenPanel is also offered with a multitude of off-the-shelf board options to give engineers and product designers various processors, features, and I/O options. If an off-the-shelf board does not work, they can be customized to fit the intended application. Custom I/O, indicators, and switches can be broken out to offer maximum usability and compatibility with peripherals and the operator.
The standard chassis design for OpenPanel is designed to be universal and adapt to many installation environments. But for customers that have special requirements and needs, Enoch engineers can redesign the chassis to accommodate these needs.
OpenPanel was designed for manufacturers and system integrators who develop their own products and solutions. OpenPanel is a drop in turn-key display and computing solution that engineers can use to help them quickly develop and launch new products. Enoch can provide reference designs, 2D drawings, and 3D models to allow engineers to quickly test-fit OpenPanel in a CAD environment. Realistic renders can be created to help customers visualize what the end product will look like.
